Ladies from Suffolk.

At the end of September I travelled to Split with four friends where we were met by Angela and Vic Blundell and escorted to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Brac. Angela and Vic fell in love with Croatia some years ago and decided to buy a property on Brac in Milna. Their favourite pastime was walking and therefore decided to organise walking holidays for like minded people. Because it is so hot high season they are there May and June and then again September, October which are perfect times for walking the beautiful hills and forests of the island. They organised for us to stay in a lovely village house owned by Lidija near to the harbour in Sutevan which we stayed in on a bed and breakfast arrangement. Evening meals were taken either at Dora's in the
town or at a nearby restaurant on the harbour. They also organised the services of a great guide called Zava who knew the island inside out and guided us on some amazing walks on 4 of the days. The other two days we had as free to enjoy the island or to go to Split but we opted to lie on the beach and soak up the sun !
Any problems we would have had ( there were none ) were sorted by their local agent Ranko. As a group we have walked in many places in Europe but we all totally fell in love with Brac - the peace and unspoilt landscape was so refreshing and the people charming.
For anyone who enjoys this sort of holiday I have no problems in recommending this trip. You can contact Angela and Vic for more information on their company Footsteps in Croatia on info@footsteps-in-croatia.co.uk
